I don't know much about PSU's roster. Who are some of the current players that other major Universities would look at?

really cannot comment too much, as Im not totally familiar with them myself. I would say Silas Redd for sure, possibly Bolden and McGloin. With that said, I dont think it will be just major programs contacted the players. I think all programs from Alabama to Akron will be contacting them.

As far as recruits go, you can probably kiss most of them good-bye. Adam Brenneman is the one to watch, he is the biggest pro-PSU kid you will find. If he leaves it's all 2 star recruits with no DI offers.

As far as current players. RB Silas Redd is their best offensive player. They have several very good SR defensive players but I don't expect any of them to leave. Mostly Freshman and Sophomores will go. They don't have any underclassman who were huge impact players, they have plenty who were good recruits though.

Brenneman is a huge penn st. Fan and He recently blew out his knee and can't play this year. I completely expect him to stay.

This transfer rule will help mid to small level schools the most I think. If a guy is a SR/JR back up at PSU he might choose to go somewhere and start.

I would expect ALL of the recruiting class to back out, including Brenneman. No top players want to enroll in a school where they will not play one post season or championship game during their career.

Brennemen previously tweeted "the only way I'm not going to PSU is if they don't have a football program"

Of course college aged kids never change their minds! I would be amazed if he stays on board after the NCAA just dropped the tool box on Ped State this morning. He may say that now, but wait till Meyer and some other coaches start putting reality in his head!

I know the kid personally and it has been his dream to play for penn st since he was a kid. I really don't see him leaving

I'm just saying he is the one to watch. Because if he goes, they all go. As Crimson has pointed out, for some kids PSU is their dream school.

For some women, Ted Bundy was their dream date!

Lets give them time to get acquainted and see where the chips fall.

But I agree with you, if he folds the entire class will high tail it out of there.

This was tweeted from Breneman's twitter account by his father not long after the sanctions were announced.
"We will not be making any comments regarding Penn State or Adam's recruitment at this time. Thank you. -Brian Breneman "

Ross Douglas has been "re-offered" by Michigan and is visiting this Sunday. Michigan has 2 spots left to fill, and is looking for a CB for one of them.

They have the #3 and #5 RBs in the country in their 2013 class already.
