It would be a place where all the different leagues in the valley could hold their championship games at no cost. I am not talking about a williamsport style field, I am talking about a scaled down version of some of the pro parks with concession stands, bathrooms and video replay screens and dugouts that connect to their own locker room.

Now I would love this. Make it even better by making it a multi-purpose field

That what my daughter did..
How many months on your lease now?
Lots of people looking for short leases ...
Naw, I have a roommate so we split the rent. Our lease is 12 months. Even though the restuarant situation sucks, I'll take paying $900 (my half) to live in downtown Chicago in a super nice place for another year.

However, next summer is a different story. I don't like the idea of my girlfriend walking around downtown by herself at night. So we'll be looking at other neighborhoods.

Neighborhood: Fill empty lots with a midrise buildings (5-6 max) creating a denser feel. I live in what was the textile factory part of town in Charlotte that has been converted to apartments, shops, restaruants etc. It's getting built up but I want more of that Lakeview/Wrigleyville feel.

Town: Implement the transit plan Charlotte has in place. Build more light rail lines, streetcar service replacing most popular bus routes. Commuter rail out to the bigger burbs.

State: High speed rail service to Raleigh, other bigger metros around the state.

If you can't tell, I hate having to drive everywhere. Especially down here where people are crazy.
