So I recently updated my signature on all the sports forums to include a link to my web site. I created a thread in all the Football forums, gauging interest for a WCAL, PAC, and OCC combined pick'em. I got a private message from JJ with the following:

Per Bucknuts: this site can not be promoted using our site.

If you want to run your pick'em on our site, that's fine.

You may not have a link in your signature to the site. It has been removed.

Any questions, or complaints, should be directed to Eric Frantz.

I post something, and sure enough, my signature is gone. I then went into the Football forum, and the thread was deleted. Wow - they REALLY have that place locked down. It's literally laughable!

I don't think that's really that unreasonable.

And as far as here, I can't remember how Justin feels about links like that. One of the reasons websites don't like that is because of the conflict it creates with the paid advertisement they receive.

They had to delete the thread, too? I guess it just seems a little overboard to me.

I saw your thread over there today, and wondered if the mention of the OC would bring some kind of ban or removal of the thread. Oh well, most of the HS football old timers who will get in the pick 'em have either moved here or to the other, other site.

If they actually had users on that site, there would have been no problem hosting it THERE instead. LoL. And they wonder why they lose viewers. Oh well.

If a moderator could please delete this thread, I'd be appreciative. That way JJ can't come on here and see the thread and remove my account from JJHuddle.
