Looks like a wrong decision by Dusty as Simon walks the pitcher to lead-off the 6th, his 3rd inning. I guess he didn't want to use a PH as early as the 5th, especially with Votto still on the roster(I assume he's not available as a PH).

Surely walking the lead-off hitter for the 2nd inning in a row will not turn out as well as it did last inning!

Very precise quick throw by Frazier started a great DP to help Bray out to get him where he only needs to get one more out to get a zero, but Bray promptly throws a very wild pitch, but it bounces hard back off the wall and the run can't score! Then trying to throw intentional ball four, Bray goes completely bonkers and throws a wild pitch inside, and he lucks out again as they nail the runner at home for the 3rd out, but not due to any good job by Bray of making the tag! That is about as bad a job as a pitcher can possibly do in an inning and still get credit for a scoreless inning pitched! The breaks are going for the Reds - they better take advantage by winning this game!

If any part of that ball is touching the white part of the plate, it is a fair ball, and it looks like the ump was correct!

Damon didn't have spring training and in his last 17 starts he's hitting .339

Yeah I know. I really don't mind him. I said initially that he would hit over 270 because he is a veteran who knows what he's doing. I just lime giving him shit cause it's a fun ongoing joke. His defense and arm still blow though.

That is true.

BUT i dont think it was. Did they show a zoom in view at all? I saw a fwe replays that to me looked like it wasnt touching the plate at the time he picked it up, but they really needed to come up with a zoom in view for sure.

Tito said it best in the studio IMO on Baseball Tonight. He basically said that after seeing it several times, he couldn't tell and it's really hard to fault the ump in that situation.

True. Hard to fault the guy that is a few feet away. Even after the replays I think that it was either FOUL or just BARELY, but a **** hair, touching the plate and no way the ump could have seen it.
