I'll be back in the Cincinasty this wknd...i'll be at the Saturday game if anyone wants to slug a beer with me

But lets get this going..9 games over, 1 game behind the Succos. Big series coming up already.

Pirates have the easiest schedule the rest of the way, Reds have the next easiest schedule...gotta keep winning.

What will happen:
Reds-2
Bitches-3

Latos has been lights out recently, I expect that to continue. Reds 5-2.

I'll be there tomorrow. Great pitching match-up tonight. Outside of 2 starts ago, Wainwright has been really good for the last month+ after a terrible April.

Reds start the second half by losing 4 of their first 6.

but keep pace as the pirates dont do much better.

I've really missed watching Stubbs and Rolen playing the past 5 days.

Some good deals on stubhub for the upcoming Dbacks and Padres series coming up.....seats about 15 feet from where the Reds come in the dugout for about $35....even certain scout seats for under $40.

SUre hope that this weekend is sold out..it should be but I dont think it is.

I got rid of mine for the Pads game when one of the players I coached in HS for a short time had Tommy John surgery and wasnt gonna pitch for SD

The seats I bought for the Padres series for $36 each are $55 against the Cardinals......I don't get into that.....for a shot at the playoffs yeah, but not in the middle of July.

It'll be packed.....that's why tickets are high.

I see nothing so far. Most reports have upton linked to the rangers. He said it was on local radio in pittsburgh. He's a reds fan not a pirates fan. So for now, that makes me happy. The pirates would win the division with upton.

I also heard the upton to pirates talk on 97.1 today. Ive heard the pirates are really gonna go all in with trades this year.

Well so far the only team really linked to him is the rangers. That'd be huge for Pittsburgh though. It'd def make them the easy favorite to win the division.

I have no problem with the Pirates doing very well and going for it. They've sucked for 20 years....the Reds aren't as close to their potential as the Pirates are...if we don't beat them it's our fault. We are still better if they have Upton...whether or not we do it is up to Dusty and the gang.

Both pitchers get 1,2,3 innings in the first, but Latos throws twice as many pitches(16/8).

Not a gold glove play by BP gets the run in after Latos pitches too carefully and gets tagged for a run on a 27 pitch 2nd in spite of being the benefactor of a double play to get it to 2 outs and no one on!

Lead-off double by BP and he doesn't get to move from there! It seems like when the Reds get a runner on 2nd and or 3rd, the batting goes belly up.

Latos is too scared of this lineup. Not going after the hitters at all. Gonna be a long night for him.

Cozart conceded he wasn't getting the out at home or a double play so he tries to take the next best available out, but BP not on the bag and it turns out to be a grievously bad no out anywhere, but with no error!

And then the ump doesn't call the DP when Latos lost the ball on the transfer to protect against the runner going home. He did what was necessary to record an out but the ump doesn't allow it!

Reds lucky to be down just 2-0! Latos up to 68 pitches in just 3 innings.
