Great pitching performance but we gotta find a way to score some runs.

Standings in the AL central stayed the same. Tigers have won 6 straight.

Buster Olney said a package of Chisenhall, and 2 MLB ready players would more than likely be enough for Justin upton. I'm down with that

Well. I blame this loss on the incompetant manager. Instead of removing Ubaldo when it became 4-2, he lets the game get away at 8-2. Why? Especially since Toronto has one of the worst bullpens in baseball.

He's an idiot, period. And for those that argue that Ubaldo "might have straightened it out' need to look at the boxscore and see what he'd done in the first 2 innings plus. Gawd awful. A 4-2 deficit is easily overcome. An 8-2 deficit isn't.

As for Ubaldo himself...his ERA ballooned and once again is above the pathetic Ubaldo line for the season.

Depending on the other 2 players here. Sizemore, Hafner and Chisenhall? They can take Hagedone and Trevor Crowe too for that matter. Done deal.

They were talking Chisenhall Gomez and phelps. Honestly I would do that in a heartbeat. We get a 24 year old with power and he's locked up for 3 more years. He finished 4th last year in the nl mvp

I thought Justin Upton had Cleveland as one of the teams on his no-trade clause? It was basically the AL Central, Oakland, and a few other teams he had no interest in joining.

I forgot all about today's game and looks like I didn't miss anything. If we don't win tomorrow then somebody else starts the next thread.

I seriously doubt that anything will be done in the way of trades.

IMO, the towel has been thrown in for this year and the dice is rolled to see how far we go.

Then next year, a new towel will be ready to throw out at some early point in the season.
