Them resigning him has to be one of the most mindboggling moves I've seen a team make in forever. It's one thing to get rid of a struggling player for nothing and watch him look great for his next team and it's one thing to sign a good player and have him bomb for you. Sucks, but that's part of the game...unpredictability. But when you're a small-market team, resigning a guy who's been one step above worthless for about 2-4 years due to injuries for a bunch of money and then finding out you're going to be lucky to get ANYTHING for that money.
