I will eat almost any leftovers right out of the fridge if I'm hungry. Generally I will open the fridge and just take a couple bites of something and put it back. Did that earlier with left over hamburger helper beef stroganoff, was awesome.

Haluska, made with extra wide egg noodles, cabbage and kroger country style ground sausage. outstanding cold after it soaks up all the flavor.

I love Haluska, especially if it contains some bacon too. Never had it cold, I like it warmed up after a couple of days in the refrigerator better than fresh

Seems like it has better flavor from sitting in the refrigerator. I have never had it with bacon but I do enjoy crispy bacon with scrambled eggs. what do you put in your Haluska?

Fried bacon
Cabbage
Kluski noodles
Granulated garlic
Paprika
Chopped onion

But I have had it made with sausage instead of bacon, not bad.

That is a little different than ours, but sounds good.

3-4 lbs of country sausage
2-3 lbs of extra wide noodles
2 heads of cabbage
2 sticks of butter
garlic
pepper

It is pretty basic for ours. The kroger ground country sausage is what makes the difference, it has a lot of flavors that get absorbed by the noodles and cabbage.
