I didn't suggest you cut my statement. It's presence in the entire conversation is there for all to see. It speaks for itself.

The statement is a continuation of the prior patronizing of your belief that we have a democracy.

Ahhh but that's not what you claimed.

I agree that I am limited by the laws created through the legislative process which is determined not by the people as a pure democracy might, but rather through their representatives.

If that's the case am I able to do as you said....and do what I want?

Are representatives able to act against the people's will legislatively? If so, doesn't that put the ultimate power in the representative's hands?

with popular sovereignty the people can remove any representative from office and any law they pass.

Am I able to do as I want like you stated earlier? I don't believe I can.

Can a Representative act against the people wishes legislatively? Telling me what the people can do as a response doesn't answer the question.
