That is insane. Last night they were talking how he is rumored to be moved to AA soon. When at AA you are knocking on the door to the big club.

He is a SS. Guess he isnt all that great defensively.

If he can hit at AA, and still steals alot of bases what do the reds do? I am always under the thinking that if you can play SS you can play pretty much anywhere. OF? Reds are far from set in CF and LF. I think they MAY have their SS of the future as Cozart does show promise, but that all will hinge on how he progresses as a player.

They say that he studies pitchers moves quite a bit. Wasnt aware they had video study of opponants in A ball.

I think I saw something last week, on twitter maybe, that there are tentative plans to move him to LF.

Or maybe I saw someone suggest it on here...I don't know?

There were talking about this in their regular second inning talk with one of the beat writers. Forget which one was but they said so far there has been no talk at all about moving positions, and this is a suppposed insider. ALso talked how the reds have stated to him that they play on keep developing him as a SS>

With that kind of speed, even if his arm is just decent, you'd think he'd be earmarked for CF. A guy like that should be able to cover a lot of pasture. Don't really know the Red's CF situation but that guy sounds like he a prototype candidate.

We have an every day center fielder. In his last 7 games he's made 28 outs. In the 29 games that he has played and the Reds lost he is 11 for 106 with 1 XBH (2B), scored 2 runs and has 2 RBI.

No other options though. He's the best and only one.

I going to buy a Stubbs jersey. That will guarantee he gets moved in some way.

It's been talked about for quite a while that Hamilton will most likely end up in the outfield. I think 2B may have been an option if Phillips hadn't re-signed.
