I finally reached the breaking point with my current job so I sent my resume in for a job I found on craigslist. A couple days later they had me in for an interview. That went well so I am going back in for a second interview to meet everyone in the office (all 8 employees). Hopefully this place works out. It would get me out of "Corporate America" which I desperately need but I am trying not to get my hopes up.

It's a web developer position for a marketing agency.

Just heads up Corporate America can be a pain...but don't forget that small operations have plenty of issues too. Especially family run operations.

Id say this site is a pretty damn good resume to use all in itself. Especially given the amount of time it took to get up and running....

sounds like it could be a lucrative deal if work is steady over a long period of time

The best part about the company is no dress code. Jeans and tshirts every day!

Good luck Justin. I have a contact at BRC marketing in Dayton if that falls through for whatever reason. They are a former client of mine, I can pass along your name & resume if you like, and put in a good word of course!

Here is their site: http://www.brcmarketing.com/

Yeah, I understand that. I am just too laid back of a person to deal with the corporate world. Too many acronyms, buzzwords, processes, blah, blah. Too many things I couldn't give two shits about. :)

I'd much rather be working for a small company that I actually cared about.

Do you list this site in your resume since you are a web developer?

Well I hope that office isn't anything like this site.
32% can't stand you.
27% dont like you.
29% tolerate you.
That means you may have 1 friend to work with!

No seriously good look in your interview!!
Everyone needs a positive place of work. It makes life easier to have fun.

No, I didn't include it on my resume. I believe I mentioned it in the first interview but it isn't something that I highlighted since I really haven't done much custom coding on it.

That might not be a good idea. My final word would just be to ban everyone who participated. :)
