For some of you OC Philistines who never had the enjoyment of butter dipped artichoke leafs nor the pleasure of the many recipes that have artichokes as the main ingredients. Advance your world and try one.

Artichoke is a meal within itself. Simplest is steamed and each leaf dipped in real butter, scrapped into you mouth by the front teeth until you reach the thorny, prickly center the heart. Cutaway the prickly, thorny part on top of the heart ....expose the heart for your last bit of gourmet delight..

Belly family say “Artichoke the carrier of butter”

Hot Artichoke dip is great for fall and winter dinner parties.

However for a real tasty treat Grilled Artichoke are so dam good.. Now is the time to give an Artichoke a try. :D

Who likes Artichokes and how where they prepared? </SPAN>

I like this, but other than that artichokes gross me out. My company carries several perserved varieties....whole, quartered, marinated w/ herbs in brine or oil. I've tried them all, still can't do it.
