Took 2 of 3 last time the angels came to town.
surprised..? has he noticed he sucked lately?Indians catcher Carlos Santana said he was "very surprised" not to see his name in Sunday's lineup for Cleveland's game against the Orioles. Santana has sat out four games due to back and right-side soreness. But the catcher said he felt much improved on Sunday. Acta said the club was simply being cautious.

The way Marson is swinging the bat, he has to play. Maybe give Kotchman the night off and let Santana play 1B. Regardless, it will be hard to take tonight's game with Weaver pitching.Glory Days;1217159 wrote:Took 2 of 3 last time the angels came to town.

No way we win tonight. We will also not score 7+ runs tonight. Lick it. Seal it. Ship it.

I've always liked watching weaver pitch. I would like it even more if the Indians scored a win against him with a good 5 run outing.

I believe Marson's hitting at least 100 points higher than Santana over the last month, so I'm not so sure about having him play first either....and to top it off, Acta's got Brantley hitting cleanup...why?royal_k;1217204 wrote:The way Marson is swinging the bat, he has to play. Gonna be a long night if the Tribe hitters keep letting 88 mph fastballs go by that are right down the middle....and in turn swing at high pitches out of the strike zone.

Santana with a single up the middle... Hopefully that benching refocused him

Bases loaded with no outs thanks to Weaver being uncharacteristically wild in the 7th. Damon proceeds to swing at EVERYTHING he throws, eventually grounding into a FC... Kotchman does the same thing and pops a pitch straight up at home plate...
Now Duncan is up to end the inning...

SMH.
A great start by Ubaldo will be wasted. What else is new with this offense?

I lol'd it's nice to see the tides turn and ubaldo start pitching like we thought he would be and fister has been getting pounded. Now if we didn't have a hole in left field and a retard playing first base we will be alright
