I forgot my belt on my way to work this morning. Second time in two weeks.

Now I have to spend the rest of the day looking like a retard.

Kill myself? Y/n

It's a business casual environment, so I don't think I'd get away with it.

Follow someone into the bathroom, jump him, steal his belt.

I had to do this the other day. I didn't wear a belt and then the button popped of my shorts. "Lucky" for me there was a piece of baler twine on the ground, so I tied that around my waste and kept going. Lol

Use it as practice for being married someday.

My pants aren't going to fall down, I'll just look stupid for the remainder of the day

It's still better than remembering your belt but forgetting your pants.

Use an ethernet cable. They make a great belt.

And McGuyver has the best solution so far.

I'd say just suck it up and, deal with looking like a stooge for the rest of the day. Then, I'd recommend buying a reversible belt and keeping it at your workspace (in a drawer) in case you forget again, since this is apparently a recurring theme.

I'm sitting at home right now scarfing down some pizza. It bothered me bad enough to drive from New Albany back to campus to get it (about 20 minute drive).

Actually ... good call! Still, I'd invest in one to keep near your desk. I used to do that with a tie. Saved my butt more than once.

Always keep an extra tie and a reversible belt in the office, just in case.

Exactly. But it was better than having my pants fall down and getting charged with indecent exposure. At least my shirt was untucked so nobody could tell. Lol

I could've driven to Meijer (about 7 minutes) and bought one too, but I did that last week.
