I only use cash if I go somewhere and they don't accept a card. No reason to carry around cash anymore.

Man...I hate this whole cash crap now.

Another reason why I hate US politics right now. We are so far behind. We lose money on so many coins being produced. Canada moves to polymer bills (certain denominations) -- that type of bill is harder to counterfeit, lasts longer, and is cheaper to make.

Meanwhile, the United States sits on their butts and does nothing to actually be progressive OR save money...

This. We need cash to survive as a nation who loves strippers. Or we might as well be Iran.

Fingerprints and retina scans someday probably. Maybe even a chip in your wrist or something like that check out Verichip. I dont carry my wallet ever just keep some cash and debit card in my pocket. I hate worrying about losing my wallet with IDs and other important stuff in it.

I rarely use cash, and usually don't have any on me. I try to avoid places that don't accept credit cards.
I use a credit card for everything that I can use it for, the account is setup so the balance at the end of the month is auto-deducted from my checking on the due date, so I accrue rewards points, and never pay interest. I don't see the benefit of using any other means of payment.
When I do have cash, it usually gets spent quickly and I have no idea what I spent it on, while a credit card provides a means to track your spending as well.

Yeah...and so far, they've got a leg-up on the US in:
  • Cost of currency
  • Cost of healthcare
  • Cost of higher education
I am sure there's so much more as well. Oh, they have nice hunting there too.

And they went through some major reforms to fix their spending and economy. But the real key to their resurgence has been the energy boom.
