I was thinking about starting a thread the other day....

Can't wait. Probably my favorite show and I'm still actually catching up with S4 SMH... I think I'm on episode 7 or 8, so not too many more to go. I became way too busy during the original airing to follow it as I'd have liked, so I decided to skip it and wait until S5 was about to come out.

I just hope it doesn't go "The Wire" route and have a subpar season 5 (although compared to most crappy tv shows the 5th season of The Wire is great - it just didn't live up to the previous seasons). The writers have had plenty of time to craft a good script, so ideally that won't be the case. The series could have ended at the last episode and few would have complained other than the complaint that they wanted to watch more - which is fine as long as the writing and production maintain the excellence in quality. I don't want to see this turn into "The Office" which although a different genre, is indicative of a product that outlived its own lifespan and is a shell of its former self - see also "The Simpsons", although I'm not sure anyone watches that anymore.

Half way through season 4 - one of the best shows I'v watched since The Wire and The Shield.

Watching week to week will suck since I've been watching on netflix and watching 2-3 episodes at a time lol

I have that problem with a lot of shows. I watched Breaking Bad, Mad Men and Sons of Anarchy on Netflix.

Only through Season 3 since I was moving during Season 4 airing, and didnt have cable for a month and a half. But just finished DVR'ing the Season 4 re-runs on AMC and will be watching them starting today. Probably done by tomorrow night lol.

It is season 3, the "Half Measures" episode. Until then Walt does stuff out of desperation or doesn't act out of disgust. But after the talk with Mike he realizes that if he's in the game he can't do anything half-$&^$ed anymore.

Thats right. Good memory. I didnt remember what Season it was in. He kid of builds up to that point. Doing more and more shit that is completely crazy. Then finally, bam, hes a badass.

His full bad asseness (?lol) isn't realized until later in S4 though.

I love how his character has developed. At first, it was out of desperation, but now it's becoming more determination. Excited to finish up S4 soon.
