Varies. November to March, probably 50-60, and same in June. Being able to set your own hours, take long breaks in the middle of the day, work from home for all or part of the day, etc., makes the long days much more managable.

From late July to October, I can often get by by working 5-6 hours a day as long as I spend an hour or so checking and answering e-mails and phone messages from home in the early evening to handle any urgent matters that come up late in the (Eastern Time, at least) day.

I probably spend 10-12 weeks a traveling which really sucks up the time - but I often work some time off into the trips and make a mini-vacation with my wife out of them. All I usually have to pay for is her air fare and meals/hotels for the extra days away. We usually get at least one long fall weekend in New England and two or three long weekends in Oregon or Washington State out of it.

Flip side - Cleveland in January.

I've been at 65-75 for the past year, although some weeks are well over 80. I have another year of this fun.

I start work in about an hour. I'll finish at about 3am tomorrow morning.

This is actually pretty accurate for me, too.

I work 8 hours a day and occasionally an extra few hours here and there.
