What kind of grill do you own?

Thinking about getting one. I love grilling but not sure that getting a charcoal grill is worth it.

Infrared. Used it for the first time yesterday. Going to take a couple of uses before I master it.

Gas.

I'm way too lazy for charcoal. And honestly, I've never been a fan either.

I like both, it just depends how much time I have. Get a Char-Griller Duo.

Honest question, what's the difference between infrared and just making a burger in a skillet or on a griddle?

I use a gas grill due to speed and it best easy, but I prefer Charcol. If I have the time, I'd go Charcol.

Lowe's. $399...it was the middle model. The highest end one was $499 which has a self cleaning knob that allows you to leave the grill on, it cleans itself and then shuts off automatically in 15 minutes. I was debating getting the Big Green Egg but didn't want to shell out over $700 for a grill.

I actually prefer charcoal but I'm a lazy ass when it comes to grilling.

My stepdad has both. I prefer charcoal but gas is definitely easier. I am actually pretty good with the gas grill. Making some chicken as I type.

I bought a webber charcoal grill for the portability of it. I made my own gas grill and love it. Have a box I can put wood chips in to get the smoke flavor. I built it for less then 100 bucks. Most of the stuff I made it out of I salvaged outta places over the years.

Three charcoal grills of varying sizes, a gas grill, and an offset smoker.

I have a gas grill, but have thought about a charcoal grill in case of emergencies such as no propane left....

For grill I use gas (Weber) I like the control of the heat for different meats and vegetables and the consistent of time that it take to prepare what I&#8217;m cooking. You can control that with charcoal. </SPAN>
For the Smoker apple or cherry wood only&#8230;.. </SPAN>
