Route 77 South, mile marker 113, just passed the A/K Airport in the left fast lane,
70 MPH left rear tire blows no warning, no sign of a problem, didn’t hit anything (that I know of), shredded the tire off the rim. My truck ass end swung left and right, rubber flying and smoke everywhere and I could hear the rim on the road. Quickly got control and pulled it over to the left side of the road along side the cement wall and called AAA.

In my years of driving I have had some tire failure but this was freaking scary.

Good news before AAA showed up three people pulled over to help … Makes you think that there are still some people that care or just want to rob you :D

I got a flat on the high way and pulled to the left - wasn't a blow out so it wasn't hard to control. No one helped and changing a tire during rush hour was scary shit, my car shook every time a truck or bus went bye.

Yeah happened to me when I was 17. The truck in front of me dropped a bunch of 2x4 and I was lucky a blowout was all I had. I was right next to the Easton exit when it happened it was pretty scary and luckily a shp pulled over behind me and flashed his light while I changed the tire.

Reminds me of Nate Ravitz on the Fantasy focus where he was late to work to record the podcast because he didn't know how to jump start a car.

I could have change the tire but I pay for a service (because I can) and I use the services when I want to.
Being able to afford a service (let call it Occupy My Money) helps employ others, those who are living on entitlements employ no one, benefits nothing but their self worthless being.. </SPAN>

I always call AAA.

Then, when they get there, I kick the tow-truck driver's ass and play a game where I try to change my tire before he wakes up.

I'm a badass motherfucker, though.

I'd have called my car service too. Changing a tire or walking to a gas station isn't hard but if I don't use my car service then when the hell am I going to?

My private jet had engine trouble once so I just trashed it and bought an airline to take me where I need to go.

You pay for something and don't use it. Want the fuck are you waiting for? You can't roll over the towing or road side support so why don't you just piss away your money... that seem to be a smart thing to do... man :D

Had flat myself Saturday, had a nail in the tire. Luckily I was able to get some air in it and drive it up the road to be plugged and back on my way.

I can change a flat in a 10 minutes but that not the point.
You pay for the service .. that what it there for

You paid for it because at some point you said .. hey! I can afford this and this is a good idea because I don't what to do this ... so I will pay for the peace of mind of knowing that I don't have to change a flat or worry about getting a tow. Just call and problem over ...

But no you must of said I will pay for something and not use it because I have balls and what to be an man on the internet...

I remind you being a man does not mean you have to be stupid also...

Don't have AAA, but if I did and was on my way to work on a hot day I'd probably wait rather than risk getting dirty and sweaty. Changing a tire can be a real pain, especially with those cheap ass compact tools that come with the car.

Generally I wouldn't want to wait for AAA. But who am I kidding - I probably can't change it any faster than they can getting there 15-20 minutes later.
