I said hunting dogs, not killing dogs. That's not the same thing. The last time I went dog hunting, I didn't see a single one.

I log on and look at my student loan balance. Then I go to my boss and say, "Thank you sir; may I have another?"

It was a long week. Started a new job, which I love, but is definitely challenging. I've got a lot to polish up on to do it at the level I used to (HTML email copy writing).

So, tonight, it'll be a nice Oban 14-year. Maybe a couple glasses. Stuff is DAMN fine. The perfect balance for a Scotch, in my opinion.

Because we humans have an unusual knack for enjoying utterly destroying ourselves.

Scotch and my liver are mortal enemies. I make them fight as often as possible for my own lolz.

I want my liver to burn for days when I'm cremated. It will...

When I'm cremated, I want everyone to hear a faint "Finish him!" when the burning gets to my liver, like from Mortal Combat. Partly because of the epicness of the battle between my liver and Scotch. Partly just because it would be funny to creep everyone out.

One should only listen to Colin Cowherd if they want to continue feeling bad.

Long day today. Capped it with a Man-O-War Virtue cigar and two tumblers of Oban 14-year Single-Malt scotch.

Man O War Ruination for me. Dark, oily, robust. I gave up cigars two years ago for Lent, and never went back. I miss those soooo much.

I still can't get into Scotch. Guess I'm to much of a beer 'guy'. The Wife's Step Mom loves it. She has a Bud Light Chelada at 1pm, if not sooner, then onto her cheap Single Malt for the rest of her day.

Nice. One of my personal favorites. Ever try Talisker?

When I want robust, I go with a Gurkha Assassin or Rocky Patel Fusion Double Maduro. The latter will kick the ass of even the blackest of lungs. LOL!

Oh yeah. I have an empty bottle of it upstairs from when I had it. It was just a touch peatier than I like. If I feel dull after a day, and I need something with particularly strong taste, I'll go with a Talisker or a Glenmorangie, either one 12-year. If I want a balance, I go with Oban 14-year. If I need something a little light on the peat, I go with the Ballvenie 12-year.

If you're in the mood for strong and have some extra $$ in your pocket, give Lagavulin a shot if you haven't already.

I haven't, but I also haven't seen that up here. I'll keep an eye out, though.

The 12-year Connemara is coming out tonight for me. Fuck Mondays.
