Another GW shot--point is it was against the Bucks. A win is a win but they shouldn't be letting the Bucks hang around like that.

Do you really think that's some sort of joke? Then you must think PPG are a joke too?

Got away with an obvious charge in the posession before. I thought the Bucks tv guys were gonna drop an F-bomb about it. Major BS call that gave Kobe a three point play. Bucks didn't help their cause by missing FT's before that though.

No I really dont haha.

I jokingly say maybe this game winner puts him at 25% on game winning shots because he had a low percentage last time I looked.

And you get bent out of shape and mention me thinking that PPG are a joke too?

Thought you were going a different direction--I brought that stat up awhile back (to prove to people that Kobe statistically isn't any more clutch a shooter than LeBron) and some people got all bent out of shape about it. I thought you were citing that and being a smartass--my bad.

The Lakers might not have played as well as they could have but once again they post a win and did so with Kobe doing what he seems to do a little more than some leaders of thier teams do.

As opposed to the Celtics losing to the Pacers, Cavs losing to the Bulls, Magic losing to the Pistons, and the Nuggets losing to the Timberwolves? Not really a big deal IMO. It's unrealistic to think LA, Boston, Cleveland, Orlando, Denver, or any other team that can compete for a conference championship is going to always beat a bottom feeder; let alone win by double digits every time out. Personally I think it's more telling when an upper level team continuously struggles to beat other upper level teams than when an elite team stubs their toe vs lottery teams on a regular basis.

No shit. The Lakers lost to the Bobcats last year. I know how it goes, I'm always talking about how the great teams have games where they struggle when they shouldn't. Doesn't change the fact that they shouldn't. The Cavs struggled with the Sixers tonight and they shouldn't have. I think the Lakers are the best team in the league, I just want to see how they do on the road and I was surprised this one was as close as it was.

SQ forgets the Dancing Queen had 2 cracks at Memphis for game-winners.

What does LeBron have to do with this? If you want to talk about missed game winners--Kobe has FARRR more misses than LeBron. Percentage is all that matters and they're real close. It's the same reason Kobe has made far more game winners--he's taken a hell of a lot more, he's been in the league a hell of a lot longer.

But again, what does LeBron have to do with anything? I'm in a LAKERS thread to talk about the Lakers. Do you disagree with me that the Lakers shouldn't let the Bucks hang around like that? I'm paying them a compliment, they're too good to let a team like the Bucks hang around. When he does it against the Heat, that's one thing, but against the Bucks? I'm not taking anything away from what he did--just saying he shouldn't have had to do it.

Agreed, my only point is that I could really care less what LA, Boston, Cleveland, Orlando, and every other team that is top 5 in their conference does vs other teams that are among the 10-15 best teams in the league. Had LA or Cleveland won by 20 tonight I really wouldn't have cared. Had they lost by 20 I wouldn't have cared and it wouldn't change my opinion of either team because good teas are going to play bad games against shitty opponents. In an 82 game season, guys aren't always going to get up for a game in Philly or Milwaukee playing in front of a few thousand people. The ESPN, TNT, or ABC games vs other elite teams are the ones to guage a team by I think.

Talent wise they ceratinly shouldn't struggle vs those teams, but it is what it is.

Well SQ, if you're going to say it was only because it was against the Bucks, then I guess it warrants bringing up what the Dancing Queen DIDN'T do against a LESSER team.....twice. Sheesh, I didn't think I had to spell that one out. :P

Considering you're lost in your own conversation, I'm going to assume you're fixated on Kobe's.......nevermind.

It's okay, SQ.

At any rate, it's a long season, and some games are simply going to be tougher than expected. One thing to consider is Milwaukee has been reasonably solid at home this year, so maybe it shouldn't have been a major surprise it came down to the wire.

LA tonight, which you had no problem identifying saying it was a GW, but only against the Bucks.

Then, I bring up Cleveland's game against Memphis, and what didn't happen.

Do you...FINALLY...get it? Or, are you going to to go on another F-bomb(or body part) tirade?

Kids.....I swear I'm not having anymore! :D

Did you read anything else I said? Obviously not...you're an idiot dude. That comment had nothing to do with Kobe, nothing to do with the Cavs, but everything to do with the Lakers as a team.
