Well, most business people think the economy will change - for the better with Romney, for the worse with Obama. Oddly enough, many of the unemployed will be re-upping for more of the same with Obama.

Someone that worked a day in business. Whether one agrees with Obama's left wing politics or not, there is no way anyone can claim that he has even a slight advantage against Romney in the business sector.

Obama graduated from HLS, and pissed away his degree. He could have clerked on SCOTUS (a dream for most law school graduates), yet didn't do it. He could have worked for Cravath, Wachtell, DPW, STB, any firm in the country, yet didn't do it. He's lived off his persona instead of living off of his accomplishments.

The gig is over. I respect Romney in many respects, I think he's the GOP's best candidate. There are many issues where we disagree, but I trust his experience and judgment. If Obama is re-elected I could see us with a +US$25T deficit and fiscal difficulties that the country will not survive, more class warfare, more blaming of Booooosh, more golf playing and being an inexperience executive, which is to be expected because he has no experience. 2008 was the worst decision in my lifetime. I can't even respect someone that says they will vote for him. He's been terrible.

The Community Organizer had zero/nada/no real executive experience going into the job. Despite holding office for the past 3 and a half years he's still inept, hasn't learned to lead, clearly has no clue how the private sector works, and remains a total disaster.

Romney has an MBA, CEO experience, lead a successful Olympic experience in Salt Lake City, and was governor of Massachusetts for starters. If we compare resumes on someone who has had both public and private executive leadership experience, Romney gets the job hands down.

Anyone who pulls the lever for 4 more years of the Great National Disaster known as Barack Hussein Obama is a fool. Anyone who chooses not to vote because "what's the point...more of the same" is a fool. Anyone who wastes their vote for any 3rd party candidate is a fool.

Folks, this clearly is the most important POTUS election in quite some time. If there are enough fools out there who believe that Obama deserves 4 more years to finish the job he's started, we deserve our fate.

Businesses don’t have the confidence in the Obama Administration or the economy with this Anti-Business Socialist Obama. Plus businesses are not in the position to hire because of the lost profits of a bad economy. Remember most business on Main street are one job from going under and two jobs from making payroll and six jobs from thinking about hiring anyone.

Obama 2012 Budget has a tax a big tax on business .. Increase in the Unemployment Tax big time.
So if business did what Obama said to do and hire, business would now be looking at more profit lost via an increase in Unemployment tax on then via Obama new Unemployment Tax Increase.

First things first. I'm going to get someone to at least slow the bus heading for the cliff. Next election we can worry about turning things around if Romney hasn't. But if you have a hard-on for Ron Paul in 2016, 4 more years of Obama might render that election moot.

What does the "past history of Republican presidents" have anything to do with what Romney may or may not do? Gee, you know Teddy Roosevelt/Calvin Coolidge/Richard Nixon/etc did X,Y, and Z 100 years ago, that means Romney will do A,B, and C.

We're one Supreme Court Justice away from the whole thing crumbling down. That alone is reason enough for me to vote for Romney.

4 more years of Obama might show us the cliff about 10 years earlier than normal. Given that the Boomers are a pretty big part of the mess we created, I'd personally rather have them share some of the pain than just kick the can down the road for 4 more years with Romney.

This is the only reason anyone needs to vote Barry and the Socialists out of office.

Honestly, not much.
Romney won't have the ability to push his budget through Congress, so any idea or budget/ tax idea he has will die or get changed by Congress. He may get small vicotories here and there, but as to decreasing the debt, nope. He won't have the support of any D's or the moderate R's.

The DoD budget will increase, but there is no rational behind it (check out the Defense News article on it).
Medicare and Medicaid will continue to balloon, with no structural fix at the ready.
And, I doubt the Executive branch could muster enough influence to greatly swing the economy by itself. Since, we all know, Government has a marginal impact in the global economy.

So, again, not much.

Foreign policy wise, I see more neocons in place and in influence given who is working with Romney now.
That said, I doubt a second Obama term is much better. Congress is holding up any structural changes and solutions.

Again, your choices are Obama or Romney. You agree we get their sooner with Obama, so if the can is going to be kicked down the road regardless, shouldn't you vote for the guy that delays that longer?

The simple reality is Paul and the libertarians are failing to get any traction. A protest vote does nothing to help that. You can't just close your eyes and plug your ears. I don't know if you were actively involved in Paul's campaign or not, but you had your chance in the primaries. Maybe instead of taking your ball and going home you should do something about getting a more viable 3rd party candidate into the mix.

Why would I want to delay it longer? I'm 24. Kicking the can down the road just means more people who have barely voted will be forced to deal with the stuff people over 50 have voted for their entire lives. I have zero faith that the government will do anything to fix the problem until we are falling 9.8m/s off the cliff. Personally, I'd love for the people who had the biggest hand in the problem to go down with the ship.

Not kicking the can down the road is not an alternative. We have to buy time until a viable alternative gets the necessary support. That necessitates a vote for Romney. It's really not complicated to understand.

The next president will most likely appoint 2 supreme court justices, and that will shape the court for 2 decades at least. Hence, if you want a liberal activist court...go ahead and vote for the community organizer. If you want a more conservative court then vote for the good guys.

This is akin to advocating everyone eating a diet high in cholesterol and sugar until you have a heart attack and then to cut back on cholesterol and sugar.

Buy time for what? No one wants to sacrifice anything; not now, not 5 years from now, not 40 years from now.
