There are currently 99 users online. 51 members and 48 guests.
So, nearly as many guests as members.
How do you propose we coerce these "guests" to actually join?
How do we make them feel welcome?
What is an appealing gesture?
Do they become "members" once they join? Do they have to be "accepted" or have a "certain amount of posts" to be considered "members"?
At what point would they be eligible to vote?

A minor league forum were we can not view, but they can get together and plot against us.
Either that or make it a requirement to register to view certain forums, i.e. Serious Business and Basement, but leave high school sports open for anyone to see.

Ahhhhh I remember such a forum, that separated the old from the new....perhaps with your thought process we can open the "bleacher seats" or maybe...."The Dawg Pound"?Sonofanump;1197883 wrote:A minor league forum were we can not view, but they can get together and plot against us.

Please send them a poll asking how they feel about my mama jokes. It would help with my research.

Please stay on topic. That is twice now that you have tried derailing this thread.DeyDurkie5;1197951 wrote:reported for infracting this website.
As for ETB, you're right, it is now less: There are currently 72 users online. 33 members and 39 guests
Guests are outnumbering members.....SMH. The demise is near if change isn't made.

The first one was serious. THere is no point. They aren't trying to reduce the trolling, and people aren't trying to welcome new/former members(hence the funny pictures HOF thread started by a former member that just returned)1_beast;1197963 wrote:Please stay on topic. I would assume 99% of the guests are bots. As are probably 75% of the members.

I'm pretty sure most guests are spiders and bots.

It's pretty pointless to be a guest on this site, because if I remember correctly, you can only look at like 3 threads before you're forced to join.

There should be some kind of perk for registering and making like 50 posts. No clue what it would be. I know I was a reader of forums forever, but once I started posting, I couldn't stop.
