After the Thunder win the first 2 games, the city of Seattle starts a holy war against Oklahoma City and lays siege to the city and takes the whole team hostage. Meanwhile LeBron once again decides to quit on a team mid-series, but this time instead of waiting to the end he quits after game 2. He then announces he is taking his talents to the Euro leagues where he figures everyone will love him and he will dominate. And in light of the simultaneous events the NBA cancels the series and names Boston the winners of the 2011-2012 season.
I'd drink to LeBron going to Europe. Not sure he realizes the prevalent racism over there, he'd wilt the second someone threw a banana at him

I guess I don't see OKC's bench as that impressive besides Harden. Fisher is a good backup and is capable of a big shot here and there. Collison is serviceable. Other than that, they really don't have too much.

Over/Under LBJ guards Durant 50% of the time?
Really? I don't see an overwhelming match up advantage for either side. The biggest advantage is the Thunder having home court.

Biggest advantage I see is in the backcourt .. Westbrook/Harden/Sefolosha/Fisher over Wade/Chalmers/Miller/Cole all day IMO.

You are probably correct, but Sefolosha and Fisher are so limited in one major aspect of the game (offense for Sefolosha and defense for Fisher) that they are at a disadvantage at one end of the court when one of them is out there. While none of the players from the Heat that you listed (obviously besides Wade as well as Miller's shooting) are particularly great at anything, they aren't huge liabilities on either end of the floor (at least bring something to the table on both sides of the ball).

Over/Under fouls per game on Lebron while guarding the best scorer in the league? 1.5? 2.5?

OKC is more stable/consistent as a whole.

Do they have elite players? Yes. Are they an elite team? No.
Last two years have been to the Finals and finished with one of the best records in the NBA. And have 3 olympians on their roster

How about just bench in general? This is a very deep team compared to Miami. However Lebron could probably play 48 minutes and not run out of gas

OKC's depth is exaggerated due to Harden's ability to score. Miami can bring either Battier or Haslem off the bench, if Miller was healthy he is a really good role player, Norris Cole can change tempo and Joel Anthony can defend in the post or in the pick and roll and blocks shots and rebounds. James Jones is also one of the best shooters in the league. OKC's main bench guys are Harden(who is basically a starter and plays starter minutes) and Collison, who is a dirty work type of guy similar to Haslem.

Harden alone makes the OKC bench better.
I know he is a corpse but I'm still taking Fisher over Norris Cole
I'll take Collison over Anthony
Jones is a good shooter but that is the only thing he can do is spot up behind the arc, D Cook does the exact same thing but gives you more athleticism

God though this series will be played at such an incredibly fast pace. Both teams love to fly up the court and Wade/LBJ are very similar players offensively to Westbrook/Durant. Thing is Bosh has to play huge because Miami can't really spread out the Thunder

I don't consider Harden a part of the bench because he is essentially a starter. IF Mike Miller were healthy and able to run and play the way he is capable of he would be the best bench player in the series, unfortunately we won't see that. I don't think Cook or James Jones will see many minutes. If Haslem comes off the bench he is better than Collison, just depends on who starts I guess. I would guess that Miami is going to start Chalmers, Wade, Lebron, Haslem and Bosh but I could be wrong obviously.

Bosh needs to bring Ibaka or Perkins away from the basket and if I'm Miami I put Perkins in a pick and roll situation often because he is horrible in it. A lot of chess moves will take place during this series and it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

I'd take Brooks over Spoelstra all day. And the last 4 games the Thunder totally stopped that Pick n Roll

I would take Brooks as well. They stopped Parker because they doubled him. Not as easy to double a guy who is 6'8'' and one of the best passers in the game though.

I think Fisher will be making some key shots this series. This is when he shines the most.

2.5, there will be a make up foul toward the end of the games.

Odds that SQ will be back posting on OC if the Heat win it all???

Ill take OKC in 6. Mostly cause I dont see them losing at home, and I dont see Miami winning 3 in a row agaisnt them.

OKC 1-2
Miami 3
OKC 4
Miami 5
OKC 6

Could also see Miami taking 3-4 and OKC taking 5 in Miami
