So do you just enjoy playing the "other side" or are you actually a big Lebron fan?

It has to be one of those

There is still going to be a large group of people that will discount this title. Fair or not, people will look at how he had to join two superstars to get the job done.

I still think the majority of the country will continue to "hate" on Lebron

Like Shaq and Kobe, Kobe and Gasol, Parker and Duncan.

The decline of that started last night.

The majority of that hate was fueled by the media. ESPN won't put him on blast anymore, it will probably be the opposite. I expect a lengthy LBJ suckfest.

That could happen

I was kinda surprised at the reaction I heard on Mike and Mike today. The vast majority of the calls, emails and tweets were anti-Lebron. There was alot of "big deal, what do you epxect when you have to join two stars". I think the NY times front cover was something along the lines of "only 7 more to go".

I agree that the hate is over the top but it's still going to be there. Many NBA/sports fans will continue to look at Bron as the guy that had to take the easy road to get his ring

I don't think he will either, unless its on the tail end of his career when the Cavs are winning multiple championships.

That was my point in an earlier post about how history will remember him. I don't know if his legacy will take a hit because, instead of being remembered as an amazing talent, many people will remember the joining other superstars thing.

You think people will remember him more for going to Miami than how good he is? Really?

There will probably be some people that think that way

Winning last night was huge for Bron but I think the majority of the haters will remain

Fair or not, yes.

Before last night, most people thought of him as the guy who hadn't won a title, instead of how good he is.

Cuban is a damn intelligent guy. He did lie out of his ass about not enjoying the limelight though.

It has to be one of those

I don't live in northern Ohio, don't like Cleveland sports teams.....and I don't get the amount of hate....don't get it, don't care to. I love sports and athletes that can do stuff you just don't see very often. Bo, Deion, Griffey, Barry Sanders, Vick and such......I love watching those athletes perform on the highest levels and in the biggest moments. Slam on any of those type athletes and I'm going to be on the other side of it. Vick and his ridiculous hobbies, Bo being on the effin Raiders, LeBron being LeBoob off the court during that melee.....It just doesn't affect me. I watch the athletic part and enjoy it. LeBron left his place...left his area, did it in a stupid way and offended millions....but for the past year he has said and done all the right things and correctly answered the tough questions....and all while proving what most of us thought all along....he's the best basketball player on the planet.

I don't have an NBA team I root for sorry. Lakers in the 80's (Magic), Bulls (once Magic retired) until Jordan retired the 2nd time after 1998.....and pretty much since then just whoever...I watch because I love sports, sometimes I don't root for anyone but as I get into the series one team will wear on me for whatever reason. I was rooting hard for OKC to make the finals...as I was the Heat....thought it would be the best matchup of those amazing athletes. Rooted for the Heat because I believe Durant will get his soon and just beat up by the LeBron doesn't talk.

Sorry I rooted for the very same player that was damn near God to most of the people on here for 7 years....but now is 12 notches below Art Modell.

You lost all credibility when you said 12 notches below Modell. No one will ever be below Modell

That is probably my favorite thing about Cuban.

Dude knows what the fuck he is talking about. He isn't just the owner that writes the checks. Yeah, sometimes he goes over the line. But he knows what his team does and what is team is capable of.
