This would be of help to a janitor working third shift.

As much as I liked going to Mount Union, the student loans for $25k+/yr private college are terrible. I would have went to tOSU or Miami of Ohio instead and double majored in business and quantitative math while still minoring in computer science.

A few things I would do differently athletically, as a leader, now that I see how things played out.

Dumped my ex a lot earlier.

Saved a lot of the money I wasted so I could move out with my lady now.

If you are that good, have you looked into officiating at the NCAA level?

I'm not saying "I'm that good," but you know, as well as I, that an official can be groomed. Now that I have a family, it just isn't realistic for me to put forth the time and effort to pursue it. I have confidence, however, that I could climb that ladder.

I guess I probably would've put more effort in to college when I first got there. Almost failed out because I never went to class. Changed majors and sailed through. I think I would enjoy working in the field that I originally majored in (petro engineering) more than my current field. But, I love my current field so I'm not too upset. I'd definitely be making more money in petro.

Gotcha, schedule and travel for basketball would suck since they play during the week.

Definitely throw this in there for me too...for ALL my ex's.

I wished I never spent ANY money on girls throughout my life. Girlfriends are such a waste of time, money, energy, emotions, and money. I am definitely not helping my kids spend ANY money on their significant others as they grow up. Just telling them to hang out and enjoy life. You don't need to spend money on jewelry, flowers, dates, etc. to show someone you "love" them at 10-18 years old. Save your money and treat them nicely when you get engaged or married.

Man...I hate thinking of all the money I blew on girls that amounted to nothing. I don't talk to a single ex of mine, and I don't care to either.

If you never dated any woman, you would never find out what you like about women enough to be happy with your current wife/gf.

Good luck dating women without taking them on dates.

Me and a girl woke up one morning, she rolled over and said, "you should take me out to eat somewhere." I responded by suggesting the cafeteria. Last night we spent together.

Well, yeah.

I had one girlfriend in college (in between stints with my now wife) that I never really had to spend money on. All she wanted to do, ever, was have sex. It was pretty awesome. But she was crazy as shit.

Now that I think about it more, I also would have broken up with my high school girlfriend before I went away to college. Would have saved me the guilt from cheating on her while she was back home. And it would probably have kept her from following me to the school and ruining some friendships I had after we broke up.

I also would have banged the black chick that I had a shot with my junior year.

Lots more than one thing:
  1. Taken up golf in high school
  2. Done a better job of picking wives
  3. Saved money rather than blowing it on cheating wives
  4. Made the military a career
  5. Become an Air Force officer
  6. Studied math harder in high school and then gone into computer science/systems management in college

I like who I am and what I have made of myself ... so I'm good

I would like to have better reading, writting and grammar skills. If I had those I would be more confident in doing some other things in life.
