I blame it on Mesoraco being the catcher.

It's insane. Votto's last 3 weeks has been filthy. Literally 2 for 3, 3 for 4, etc...every night.

Bruce needs to at least be level with the first baseman.

Huge win for the Buccos. Helluva series. Good games. Raise it.

Historically shitty (last 20 years)...yes. This year...so far...not so much.

I'm really not trying to bust balls or anything. I mean, I realize they're the Pirates. But only 2 games separate them and Cincy now. A lot of ball to play but the Pirates are right there with the Reds as of right now.

The offense is just now starting to show a little life. It was amazing they were around .500 with the worst offense in the league. Even if the offense improves to like 25th best they'd have a chance to stay around.

Nah you're good. No worries. Reds were 7 games over coming into tonight. You shouldn't lose 2 of 3 to a team hovering at 500. You have to beat the teams you are supposed to beat. Just like Detroit this weekend. Will probably happen again this weekend.

That was just an improbable finish, though.

Barmes and McKenry scoring the first earned run off Chapman?

You gotta love sports for moments like that. Bucs were totally screwed. One pitcher left. Tie game. Chapman in and they end up winning.

Both teams get a lead-off double in the 10th. The winners score, the losers don't. Does that mean the Pirates .190 hitters were better than the Reds' .270 hitters, or that Resop is better than Chapman?
