I mean seriously.. who complains about free food?

I bought 10 large pizzas today from Pizza Oven for the machine shop guys who busted their ass getting a job done on time. 5 were just pepperoni, 4 were sausage and pepperoni , and 1 was vegetable.
The one dude comes up to me and says he wasn't gonna have any cuz he hates Pizza Oven, and I should get Papa Johns next time.

Firstly.. tough shit.
Secondly.. it's free.. quit bitchin.

Do you complain if someone buys food for you?

Hell no, especially not if it's something like pizza. It's free, if you don't like it, don't eat it, but don't bitch.

Get used to it man.

At one of my jobs years ago I would buy the crew pizza on Friday nights if they met the "quota" and/or did well that week. Id say they got pizza 5 out of every 7 fridays or so. Didnt bitch or complain the weeks I didnt buy any but when I did ya almost always heard some sort of complaint about the toppings, where it was purchased (always got it from Mama Rosa's across the street because we had a running acct with them and I didnt have to pay it out of my pocket and then wait for my expense acct to reimburse me), the type of drinks I would buy on the weeks they did very well and I got them......

So..yeah...i know exactly what you were talking about. I just took it as no matter what ya do someone is going to bitch and complain...it kinda got under my skin the first couple of times but after awhile I didnt mind.

My advice is.......eh.....it happens. I woudlnt try to please everyone but ya can try to accomodate the majority.

Of course you don't complain about free food. If you don't like it just don't eat it.

I had a similar situation years ago, I bought food for a bunch of guys that were working for me when they worked really hard to get a job finished. One guy made a comment that he didn't like what I bought so I made sure that I replied loud enough that the other guys could hear me and told him "Since I could not please you then I should not buy food for the entire group anymore since it does not meet your standards." When the guys heard this they laid into him more than I ever could.

Instead of wings, why don't you buy a box of Tampax for him next time...?

Seriously, you got pizza. If you don't like a topping, it's pretty damn easy to pick it off. It's not like you're bringing in casseroles or soups.

I'd never bitch about free food. Whoever does needs a swift kick in the ass.

It's kinda like when people complain to management about things on a free website. :)

Free food is not something I would gripe about. You should have ate up to the crust and then boxed them up and pawned it off as breadsticks.

I had a pizza party for my kids at the end of the 1st quarter because none of them had F's. Now I only have 11 kids because I'm an interention teacher, so it was the same group of kids that I typically have in my room for resource. One of the kids had the nerve to ask if he could bring one of his friends and when I said no, he said he would just eat lunch in the cafeteria. He ended up coming for the pizza anyways....never did say thank you.
