Willingham would have looked good in a tribe uniform. He was a right handed bat I remember fans talking alot about having wanted in the off-season.

We spent the money on Fausto and Grady instead.

That really panned out well for us.

Great outing Hagadone. Way to help your team today.

He seemed more interested in throwing over to first base today than actually pitching and getting batters out.

@CaminoTribe: Willingham a free agent this offseason. He is a right-handed bat who plays LF. This season he's hitting .282 w/ 10 HRs, 36 RBIs

but we have grady.........

this organization can't be this stupid, they have to be making decisions based on the spin of the wheel or something. I mean, who in their right mind takes Ubaldo over Pence?...then signs Grady...but doesn't get a right handed batter? There is no fucking way they actually believe in what they are doing.

we wont spend the money will get a washup guy like damon batting change. i have come to reality that cleveland sports will never win a championship and should just acccept it. no reason to get high on any of the teams they will always bring you down.

Don't blame Haggedone for one bad outing. He's been a pleasant surprise. Masterson on the other hand....

Also, this injury crap every year is getting old.

That's what being a Cleveland fan is all about.

Couple more series like this and the last one and they will be sellers, again, at the trade deadline....

Big series coming up with the Tigers.

They get to miss Verlander, and they need to get back on the horse again as they are now 2.5 games back and inter-league play is coming. The White Sox keep winning, and we just look like a mess out there.

The Dolans absolutely have to be buyers this year, Period. The city will revolt if they don't, so unless they plan on selling the team this year they had better get something going.

2 years of hot starts in a row ramps up expectations whether they are realistic or not, so the front office needs to start responding accordingly.

Drennan is melting down right now over the lack of production from left field at the plate right now.

I'd like to see LaPorta get some PT out in left.

Our starters haven't been that bad. Yes, Masterson and Ubaldo haven't been dominant lights out guys...but they have kept the team in the game. Where the pitching is breaking down is in middle relief. Sipp let the game get away yesterday, and Haggadone trashed it today. The pitchers whose names begin with "A" have been pitching like "F"'s.

You could hear a guy the other day on the tv scream out "hey willingham, save some hits for when you are in a tribe uniform next week!" Even the commentators laughed.

Great? maybe good at times, and Jeanmar's been knocked around his last two outings...our starting pitching over the last 10 games has been consistently inconsistent, and I never thought I'd be saying this, but our bullpen's been saving their asses...THAT'S what I'm thinking

Ah yes.....38 years ago today. My how time flies. BRF listened to that game on the radio as a junior in the dorm room at Wooster College.

Great Youtube of the incident, too!
