I missed the first 3 runs. Mesoraco will change that.wildcats20;1184331 wrote:The outfield seats.

They got 3. But bases loaded and no outs.. And get none. Ugh
But it's still 8-1. So it's ok.

Bailey sitting at 81 pitches through 7 innings. I'd like to see him go the distance.

He's started throwing that splitter, and it seems to really be working for him.gerb131;1184305 wrote:Homer has been really good the last few starts. He knew it was put up or shut up time.

Bailey really pitching great tonight. Don't know if Dusty will let him go for the complete if he gets through the 8th quick but he has looked really good.
Side question that my buddy and I were talking about tonight. If you had to pick 3 starters for a postseason series who would you take? Assuming Chapman isn't available we were thinking Cueto, Latos, and Bailey.

Interesting. I would probably have to go w/ Arroyo over Bailey, at this point. There's something to be said for experience in the postseason.Terry_Tate;1184348 wrote:Bailey really pitching great tonight. 5 pitches, 3 outs. That's efficiency.

That's obviously where the real debate is, I would just have more faith in Bailey going 6 or 7 and giving up only 2 or 3 than Arroyo doing the same.

Nice work Bailey.
And good to see the offense pile on some runs without having to go yard to do it.
With St. Louis losing today, the Reds are back up 1.5 games.

Mesoraco caught a hell of a game today as well. Forgot to mention that.

To be honest, I'm not sure I would have alot of faith in any of them for a postseason series...lol.Terry_Tate;1184354 wrote:That's obviously where the real debate is, I would just have more faith in Bailey going 6 or 7 and giving up only 2 or 3 than Arroyo doing the same.

Haha, yeah. When I said more faith that doesn't mean a lot of faith
