We have absolutely no depth, so we def don't need a bunch of these little things happening....

Looks like Grady's spot just opened up. We might as well shut Hafner down for 2 weeks anyway...

About the Tigers and Tribe, but Ill post it here since this will get more traffic now. But very good article from Grantland (quickly becoming a must read for me each day) about a lot of what I posted, and others as well, in response to ClassyPoster.

Love Grantland. The Triangle Blog is great. Can't start my day until I read About Last Night.

Tribe sent McAllister back to Columbus today, and called up SS Juan Diaz from AA Akron.

Hannahan and Hafner still out of the lineup, and Brantley gets the night off.

With Hafner hurting, it would be a good time to call up LaPorta. He's still hitting over .320 with 13 HRs. And we are facing a LH tonight.

IMO he would have been a better call up than Diaz, who's never been in the bigs before.

Diaz is more than likely just up for this series. Tomlin will come off the DL Monday to start the series opener against KC. If Hannahan or Hafner need to be DL'ed at that point, I could see the organization looking to LaPorta.

I don't get the call up? He's batting 232 with 3 hrs and 18 rbis. Basically the dude sucks in aa why would he get the call up?

Infield depth with Hannahan still hurting. Didn't call Donald up because he isn't going to play and they want Donald to stay in the lineup in Columbus. He'll be going back down Monday when Tomlin comes off the DL.

Damn has the worst arm I've ever seen. No excuse for a man to not be able to throw further than what he did earlier in the inning.

Seriously. It wasn't deep and he couldn't even get it past the pitchers mound in the air.

the sickening thing about it was how many 89 mph batting practice fastballs their starter through down the middle and the tribe couldn't do shit with them. Just a bad night at the park
