I've been kind of backing the ubaldo trade but now I don't care fuck this dude. We need to trade him or hell cut him for all I care. It would be really nice to have pence out there in left field every game instead of no arm Damon and strike out retard Duncan

I liked the trade last year but haven't cared much for it since the showing he gave us last season.

My backing of the trade was never really to back up Ubaldo, but the fact that what we gave up hasn't done shit either.

It would have been much better for the team to have gotten Hunter Pence. Judging Pom and White as of now, it looks like the trade was a wash from the impacting standpoint of what each player has given their new teams. Ubaldo does have 5 more wins than both of those combined though.

I think something needs to be done with Ubaldo. His location is what's fucking him over. Send him down to work on it when Tomlin comes back and bring back McAllister.

Its not a wash. Pom is under contract for like 7 more years.

We've seen a ton of pitchers with "promising" talent not do anything. He's got a 4.70 ERA and still hasn't won a game this year. He's been battling arm injuries as well.

It's not like Pom was Strasburg or something. He was looked at as a #2, possibly #1, but I don't think anybody labeled him as a budding Ace.

I mean, Pom just made a start in AAA and gave up 6 runs on 7 hits in 3 innings. Opponents are batting over .280 against him in the majors.

EDIT: He was in AAA due to demotion.

I just look back and think what Hunter Pence would look in our line up with his 11 homers and 30 RBI. He's only batting .263 but he's being leaned on quite a bit in that Philly line up...

Hell, even Beltran was rumored as well.

not trading for pence is one thing. stupidly spending money on carmona and sizemore and thus not being able to get cuddyer or cespedes was the dagger
