I would argue that a 30 pack of beer every day is better for you than a 30 pack equivalent of ketchup every day.

Who consumes a 30 pack of ketchup? A tablespoon of ketchup a week isn't going to hurt you.

It's not one serving of ketchup; ketchup is a signaling function for people with poor diets. They need high amounts of sweetness in their foods in order to consume, thus spilling over to their regular diet.

I don't know, I probably consume less but I still use ketchup when I have fries (another bad food that is fine in moderation).

We've had the same bottle of ketchup in the fridge since last summer and it's still not even close to empty. Eating ketchup != bad diet for everyone.

My point is that ketchup in moderation is not a problem. I don't care about anyone else's poor diet. That is a completely separate issue and isn't limited mass consumption of ketchup. An elite athlete with a strict diet can have ketchup every once in a while without a problem. A member of the general population with an overal healthy diet can do the same thing. A shit diet is a shit diet with or without ketchup.

What about the word "exception" don't you understand? An elite athlete is the exception.

I give up, you win. Only elite athletes can consume ketchup in moderation without dying before they're 30.

It really grinds my gears when the catsup wont squirt and there's clearly half of the bottle left.

This post is so spot on it isn't even funny. The shit they put in this stuff also make most people crave more & more.

Ever see a person eat just one potato chip? Not likely.

BIG difference between one potato chip and one piece of broccoli. If it's not covered in processed cheese and other junk you can eat a shit ton of broccoli with no issues. Same can't be said for processed potato chips.
