Here's my take-

WIN: Orrville....to fully appreciate the scope of Rider douchebaggery. Just wear the opposing teams colors and stand on the Orrville side of the field. You'll see what I mean.
note: while standing on the Orrville side, watch out for that old ass retard in the cowboy hat doing cartwheels, he's a serious one man freak show.

PLACE: Northwestern...GoFalcs bell was initially refused entrance to Husky stadium because the gate nazis considered it a terrorist weapon, that act alone should merit consideration for Asshole incident of the year. The pompous nature of the fanbase amazes me considering the limited grid iron success over the years.

SHOW: Smithville...The Norwayne game last year cemented my opinion. The kid from Norwayne talked some shit in his video, but god damn!!!!....even I was flabbergasted at the hate spewed from some of the folks in green. Old ladies & little kids dropping f bombs at the Cats as they took the field. The maniacal post game jeering of the Crestuckians as they departed. It was brutal.

I realize I left the Waynedale wrestling fans off this list. They would probably be a hands down winner if we were including fan behavior at sporting events beyond football.

Win: orrville hands down, enough said.

Place: I once had the displeasure of sitting amongst the Bulldog faithful during a football scrimmage. Never again! They yelled at the officials during the 10 play/10 play portion of the scrimmage. Yes, I said scrimmage. The other team had an injury to their starting QB prior to the scrimmage and all those people want to talk about was how he didn't play because he was afraid to get hurt. And of course, when Dalton scored, they were the better team;; when the other team scored the officials missed a holding call on the other team. Priceless.

Show: Wooster. Huge wine and cheese crowd at the stadium for the first half, then leave after the halftime show. Hopefully the team on the field can keep some asses in the seats at Follis next fall.

I have never had the experience of observing Triway basketball but I will say that Waynedale wrestling fans are pretty bad when they are winning. When they are losing they usually have nothing to say.

On another note...True story. I had a voice message today on my cell phone with a death threat to Go Falcons. He didn't like the way Go Falcons answered one of my questions on the other thread. I didnt know whether to relay it to Go Falcs or not but I think I difused the situation.

I haven't been to a Triway basketball game in decades, so other than hearing people refer to them as the "purple peter puffers", my experiences in regards to Titan basketball is zero.

I did see Jerry Stackhouse & Jeff McInnis play at the pit when Oak Hill Academy slaughtered Triway back in the day.


Waynedale wrestling fans, on the other hand, I've seen alot of. They usually cover a whole section of the gym like a giant shit stain. Constant yells of "stalling" create an audio background for the disturbing visual. Occasionally, they engage in screaming matches with refs, other fans and anyone who looks at them sideways. It's always interesting when one of the "golden horde" gets escorted out by the po po.
Although they are the scourage of the WCAL, they do bring some additional entertainment value to the WCAL tournament.
