Long overdo IMO. I used to regularly post, but don't have as much time anymore. But as most are aware there were a couple posters who followed me around and it really did become enough where it wasn't worth my time to come on here and post because I knew after every post it would be followed up by them trying to insult me.

The new rules can only create better discussion in the threads.

As the "God Particle" of this site, this was my "will" all along. Although those who managed this creation did stray from my will, they saw the light and eventually got back on the straight and narrow. I am pleased.

1. Do you truthfully have a plan in place to help this site grow? I understand you want to cut out personal attacks, but IMO your rules have NO grey area and takes away one of the draws of the site. A lot of us give each other shit every now and then within threads and often times it creates some funny/interesting exchanges. The NBA playoff thread had a good example of this and the post count sky rocketed during that time frame. The thread is still discussing a majority of the playoff games though, despite a lackluster first round.

2. Mods. IMO some of the mods are as bad as the posters you're trying to silence. I think Mods should be voted on by the community in a poll of nominated users. Start with a fresh slate and allow your user base, the people who make the site, speak.

Posters like Jordo and Dynasty. They troll passively and then play the victim card. They should be executed.

If a mod gets infractions will they be banned to the basement per the rules violations?
