Just finished the first part from last night. Yeah, I agree it is a little confusing at first, and a little slow.
Still, pretty good and really well done for a History program. Takes the docu-drama up a notch.

I knew the story, growing up literally down the river from the feud, so it is a pretty cool to see.
Though, the little young love story has a touch of Romeo and Juliet to it.

watched part one last night...it was def slow...not that much different than an innercity gang war really. fighting over turf, percieved slights, money, family, and revenge.

also the mcoys got their arses kicked in this beef.

I had a meeting last nigh and missed the first part of the show. Decided not to pick up in the middle, and don't have a DVR guess I'm screwed.

Part 2 is a lot more intense. I've liked both episodes so far though.

No, Pawn Stars will probably be on at that time. It seems like every time I flip over to History Channel Pawn Stars is on.

Yep, Part 2 has a lot more blood and guts moments. A little intense as well there in the middle. Good stuff so far.

Very good episode last night. Impressive that this actually has famous actors in it. Much easier to follow....The first part of the first episode was alot of groundwork that had to be set down.

Good show, cant wait for the final episode tonight! The West Virginia Coal Wars of the 1920's is another interesting story about this tough little neck of woods.

I have to ask though...
Sometimes when historical movies come out the History channel does a special on the true history of what happened without all the hollywooding of it up. I wonder if they would do it for this series how accurate is it? From what I have read history isnt 100% concrete on all the whats and why's for this fued.

I usually liked watching those series on History. The one that got me was for the movie 300. They did what historians believed happened, and the movie was a comic book rendition and I was totally disappointed in the movie
