He gets butthurt whenever anyone is compared to him, which is ironic because he isn't even the best C to play the game.Hb31187;1172324 wrote:Shaqs always been a douchebag about that though. I dont know how George Hill doesnt T'd up. Everytime he drives he doesnt get a call, everytime Wade does, he does get a call. And George has been fouled on quite a few of these (especially that last "block")

Just remember. Paul George is the guy Larry drafted cause he sounded white after Gordan Hayward was taken the pick before...and he is darker than George Hill. haha.chicago510;1172334 wrote:I always get George Hill and Paul George mixed up.

Paul George also grew a foot in the off season.Laley23;1172335 wrote:Just remember. Paul George is the guy Larry drafted cause he sounded white after Gordan Hayward was taken the pick before...and he is darker than George Hill. haha.

Everyone on Indiana (except Hibbert) looks alike on this bar TV. All about 6-7 240. All have George as a first, middle or last name.wildcats20;1172336 wrote:Paul George also grew a foot in the off season.

Which is why I think he can be a stud in this league. Also, not quiiiiite a foot. He went from like 6-6/7 to 6-10.wildcats20;1172336 wrote:Paul George also grew a foot in the off season.

Lol. At least they are black. I think it was 2 or 3 years ago we started 5 white guys and had 4 more off the bench.chicago510;1172340 wrote:Everyone on Indiana (except Hibbert) looks alike on this bar TV. All about 6-7 240. All have George as a first, middle or last name.

Wasn't that their rebuilding plan post-melee? Bring in some corn-fed Hoosier types?Laley23;1172342 wrote:Lol. At least they are black. I think it was 2 or 3 years ago we started 5 white guys and had 4 more off the bench.

Dunno if it was a rebuilding plan. But it was a plan lol. I dont think Larry ever expected to win with those teams. But he definitely shed the "gangster" weight as the Indystar called it 4 years ago. Cut everyone with any kind of record and brought in guys like McRoberts, Hansborough, Hibbert, Jarret Jack, Dunleavy, etc.chicago510;1172343 wrote:Wasn't that their rebuilding plan post-melee? The pressure in that area to get rid of the "thugs" was imminent. Bird almost had to sacrifice winning for a few season to bring the fans back and have a team they could be proud of. It sucked, but its paid off. I loved the last couple drafts (though I didnt like Hansborugh, he has proved me wrong as a solid back-up).

Man the East is bad right now. 85 points is almost a guaranteed W.
Defense is very good yes, but the offensive design/execution is also brutal.

Agreed. But at least all the playoff teams were over .500. I think?chicago510;1172351 wrote:Man the East is bad right now. 85 points is almost a guaranteed W.

Actually looking at the standings, the 2 conferences were pretty equal.

Injuries and I think fatigue have played a part. Rose/Noah, Pierce/Allen, Bosh, Amare/Shumpart/DavisLaley23;1172352 wrote:Agreed. But at least all the playoff teams were over .500. I think?
