One of the better defenders in the league, not just above avg.

LeBron has never won a game to stave off elimination i.e. he's never won a game 7 or even a game 6 when his team was down 2-3.

I wonder if LeBron will check out like he did 2 years ago with Cleveland in game 6.

You mean game 5? He had 27, 19, 10 in Game 6.

What a great performance from Boston. KG playing at an absurdly high level and Pierce hitting some clutch shots disgusts me, but not as much as the Heat winning does.

I will thoroughly enjoy rooting against Boston if they end up closing out Miami.

Yeah, it did feel like he didn't give a fuck game 6 though.

I agree. Most worthless(edit: only worthless) triple double I've ever seen. Honestly couldn't believe he got a triple double because it seemed like he didn't care what happened.

Just checked it again and he shot 8/21 and had 9 turnovers as well. One turnover from a quadruple double.

19 rebounds? How can you not care and get 19 rebounds?

They didn't need 19 rebounds out of him, they needed him to try to take over and will them to win, and he made no effort to do it. That's a game where looking at the numbers does not tell the whole story.

I get that....but you can't get probably a career high in rebounds without some great effort being given. Maybe it wasn't what the team needed but I have trouble questioning the effort.

Good point on bringing that up, I completely forgot about that.

Not sure if you are being sarcastic or not, but the whole game for me just felt like a slow death, and after seeing what LeBron was capable in years past, he just seemed to be going through the motions. When the guy started going out of reach, instead of fighting back, it just seemed LeBron further went into "not give a fuck mode." Once the final buzzer went off his body language seemed to show he didn't give a fuck. It was the first time where I actually thought LeBron was leaving.

Yeah, the "27,19,10" part (aka: The SQ Mantra When Talking About That Game) doesn't include all the numbers, which show that the 19 was the only impressive part.

27 points on about 38% shooting (8-21). 10 assists to go with 9 turnovers.

EDIT: Lol on me. These points were all made in the last few posts. I just auto-responded to Like That's without reading any more. Derp.

Jason Kidd recorded an unusual quadruple double with 18 points, 10 assists, 12 rebounds and 14 turnovers against the New York Knicks on November 17, 2000.

He was out there playing basketball, he wasn't out there to win. That's about as simple as I can put it. He played hard, but didn't care what happened. The effort was there to play, not to win. It looked obvious to me in the first half of that game that he had no desire to take it over.

Alright.

I know no one on here gives a shit....but I wonder how much being the phenom at age 16 just wore on him? I know he does a lot of selfish/foolish things the greatest never do but you just wonder what keeps him from those "by God this is on me....I'm taking over moments" I know not just anyone has "it".....but what are some other examples of LeBron like athletes?

Playing alongside someone who also has that ability (Wade).

There is no doubt that Lebron always took on a "by God this is on me...I'm taking over" attitude in Cleveland except during that final Celtics series.

Man, it looked like the Heat and Spurs were on a colission course in the Finals. Now, they could both be eliminated in the next 48 hours. Both series turned around quickly.
That they did Ewok.
