Did the numbers that don't lie say how much of this was due to RG3 having vastly better receivers?

Same conference as Weeden...and McCoy...and Seneca Wallace.

Come to think of it, who was the last Big 12 QB to do well in the NFL? Bradford is doing ok, Landry Jones should do well, Gabbert..not so much.

i thought gabbert showed flashes of good play its hard to be successful when your on your back all game. same goes for mccoy two years ago.

Exactly. Weeden won't be good either.

Luck played in the Pac-12. I doubt their defense was a lot better than the Big-12.

I believe both Luck and rgiii will be around the NFL for a while. We will see who has the better career.

Gabbert was the worst QB I have ever seen. He didnt even look like he should be on the field. Looked more scared than anything.

Lucks wideouts were TEs. He didnt even play with WRs. That offense was ridiculous. Im amazed at how well the numbers he put up were actually.

Didn't watch much of Ryan Leaf, did you? THAT guy was an absolute trainwreck his first year.

9 games started, 45.3% completion, 1,289 yards, 2 TD, 15 INT, 4 lost fumbles. 39.0 QB rating

Lol, I was 11 when he was a rookie.

But now, even if I had watched a lot of him, I dont remember anything. I wouldnt know what bad was then either.

Yeah, and they were bad. But I dont know. Gabbert mightve been worse lol. He was really bad. Like, I dont remember seeing glimpses of anything from him.

Dilfer was way better than Gabbert and so was Delhomme. Frye was really bad though, but even he had moments.
