People secretly drink and drive all the time, so we should make that legal, too.

They sell alcohol at NFL games. Are you telling me that Browns, Steelers, Raiders, etc. fans are any more responsible with their alcohol?

If UC grads can't get jobs after graduation, that's their problem.goosebumps;1151626 wrote:People already sneak lcohol into games, the only difference would be now the school could make some money. UC sells alcohol at games and there have been no serious problems. WVU just started selling last year. USF sells, Louisville sells. If OSU fans can't handle their alcohol like adults, that's their problem

Minnesota has to sell alcohol just to fill a 1/4 of their stadium with that terrible team. It's about the only way anyone could stand to watch them live.

If Minnesota, Purdue, Indiana and Northwestern did not have OSU, MI, MSU, WI coming to their stadium every other year they would be averaging about 30K a game. Heck, when those schools come to town half the stadium are wearing the opposing team colors.dwccrew;1151998 wrote:Minnesota has to sell alcohol just to fill a 1/4 of their stadium with that terrible team. i guess i don't understand what is the big taboo about selling alcohol at cfb games? seems like a huge cash cow is just sitting out there untapped for these money hungry schools

That would have made the st clairsville game somewhat watchable

They do it at pro football games
Lets be real though how many $8 beers are college kids gonna buy? Besides unless you're some big spender no one is getting more than 3 beers

Kentucky does at Rupp Arena don't they? I remember the first game game I went to (back in 05 I think), they served wine at the concessions. I don't know if they still do that or if it makes a difference because it's not on campus.GOONx19;1151435 wrote:I think it's regulated by the conferences. No alcohol sales at any SEC sporting events, I believe.

No problem with it. If anything, stop all sales beginning 4th quarter.
It's OK for everyone to get wasted before the game but not enjoy a beer while watching the game live seems silly.
