How long does Ian Desmond keep a starting job?
He K's like a mad man and is an error machine. He's the old Edwin Encarnacion playing a position that's even more crucial.

Need to get Werth out on a pitch in - don't let him extend to RF.Azubuike24;1143872 wrote:Get through the 7th and Bronson did his job.
Chapman
Marshall
Ballgame
The 7th worries me though. Werth leading it off...
Important for the Reds to be able to at least clear the 9th spot in the order so they can relieve Arroyo in the 7th with Chapman, if needed, and not have to hit for him in the 8th if it is tied or Reds are behind, so Chapman can pitch the 8th also.

Wrong on that one, he gets the big out on Werth on outside breaking balls!mhs95_06;1143879 wrote:Need to get Werth out on a pitch in - don't let him extend to RF.

I wonder how good BA could have been up until last year if he had pitched in a park like this. He looks so comfortable.

Masterful job by Bronson thru 7 with 92 pitches, while Zimmermann is done with 100. Reds need some runs to protect Bronson from losing the win in a heartbreaking way!

Ludwick gave him two extra bases by catapulting the ball out of his glove and over the fence! If he just turns his back and watches, the ball hits off the top of the fence for a double!mhs95_06;1143895 wrote:Ludwick pulls a "Nix"! Like I said - Arroyo heartbreak!

Dusty better use Cozart and/or BP if he gets a good chance to. This game has been a huge waste of time.

Three of the first four pitches to Bernadina were strikes and the count was 3-1! And Ondrusek was still able to K him. Logan justified Dusty's faith in him to get thru the 9th with two on!

BP only for pinch hitting and not defense or base-running - no AB in a double play situation!dave;1143931 wrote:Dusty better use Cozart and/or BP if he gets a good chance to. This game has been a huge waste of time.

Stubbs... Good god. Looks at pitches down the middle and swings at the one in the dirt. He's the easiest out in baseball.

Now for Chapman in his "stretched out" from starter preparation mode for up to 3 innings!

He's been warming up for 3 innings. He's probably gassed already.
