And we come to the part of the conversation where I have to bust out the "You're as bad as the people who believe this...." When someone brought up the mutually exclusive thing. I said that I thought science/religion complemented each other. I never said that God created contacts. I did say that God put forth the tools (could be science) to help us live our lives.

If everything was perfect, there really wouldn't be a point to life would there be?

In the bible, Jesus heeled a blind man as well as a lame man. Maybe he simply put a piece glass in front of the man's eyes to help him see better and gave the lame man a crutch to help him move better. You can't prove that it didn't happen, the same same that I can't prove that it did. The difference is that I BELIEVE that he was able to cure them and you don't.

It's pretty sad that you actual believe god created contacts. Prove it. Oh you can't? Then you cannot make that claim. How does it feel to be believe in a theory based on fraudulent logic?

Use the logic you are so adamant that you have.

I work for a company. The company pays me X amount of dollars to do scientific research on specific topics. The company happens to be a company interested in combustion emissions, environmental studies, efficient industrial heating applications, etc. The company is not a religious company. If I spent my time getting paid by them to do religious research then my job could be in jeopardy would it not?

Now, if I worked for a company like Answers in Genesis, then I could do scientific religious research and publish it.

See how that works? I do research on what I'm paid to do research for.
