More than certain there is another side to this we aren't hearing. Even parts of that letter make me question the parents real involvement with the kids school work.

Boo hoo. Fuck this parent. Half the shit they posted in that letter is the parents responsibility. They complain to the teacher if the kid isn't learning? Help him if he is struggling? The teacher has 20-30 other students, they can't always slow down for the one kid that doesn't get it. Either get the kid a tutor or help them out yourself at home.

As a teacher, I can promise you there are some shitty teachers out there.....for my money there are far more shitty parents.

Great letter! Teachers need to get off their asses and help the kids when they need it. I struggled with this type of behavior with my middle child. She is now getting straight A's, as does my youngest and oldest. She simply needed "help" and the teacher was a dickhole.

Straight A's are not an accomplishment anymore. The best accomplishment is to be born with skin color other than white and get accepted into Harvard or Yale. Once you get there, grades don't matter and hell you can even become President, do a terrible job, and get re-elected.

Noted...however, we are done having children and stuck with minority white kids.

I broke my neck in the Potomac in '99 and the Fairfax Trauma Center Sucks....

Appreciate the Prayers though, we will work hard to overcome our "minority white" status.....

Oh I know there is plenty of shitty teachers out there. Sadly, I think more and more the teaching pool is being diluted with shittier teachers each year.

We wouldn't have these problems if they did away with State & Federal run School systems, that and getting rid of the Teachers Union.
