I was reading something on Stephens Stills the other day and it struck me as odd that these four below all knew each other as kids so I thought I'd look for some more. I tried to exclude California schools, NY City schools, and the like. Chicago might have a bunch at one school too. It's pretty hard to research actually, but here's a few. The last one in LA I just threw in as an example. There were multiple CA schools with a bunch.

Gainesville HS (FL)
Don Felder (Eagles)
Bernie Leadon (Eagles)
Tom Petty
Stephen Stills (Crosby, Stills, & Nash)


Firestone HS (OH)
Chrissie Hynde (Pretenders)
Dan Auerbach (Black Keys
Patrick Carney (Black Keys)
Dan Patrick? Not sure ;)

Wouldn't some of the members of Molly Hatchet have attended that same Gainesville, FL school?

Molly Hatchet was from Jacksonville.
Sister Hazel's Andrew Copeland and My Chemical Romance drummer Bob Bryar are from Gainesville High.

Both Skynyrd and .38 Special helped Molly Hatchet get their start, but that's it. There's no HS connection.

I wouldn't include that NY school on my list. It skews the statistics because it's not an average public school.

I saw them both, but didn't really know who they were. That makes their list even more impressive.
