IF the systems are pretty close specs wise, which I'm sure they will be, definitely will be going with the next Xbox, unless there is a big time difference of release dates...If PS4 beats Xbox 720 by 5-6 months or more, I'll buy both.

I play video games less and less. Doubt I'd buy a new system to be honest.

I'd be thinking the same thing, mainly because there's so many PS2/360 era games I haven't played yet that I could get for really cheap over the next couple years as opposed to dropping $500 or whatever on the new system...but...

You know in a couple years, they'll come out with Elder Scrolls VI: Whatever and I'll be right there at the front of the line to buy that system then!

That is true. New Elder Scrolls would make me buy a new system. Though I strongly considered trying to get Skyrim on a computer going, but I didn't want to shell out a few hundred bucks in order to get it running the way I'd want on a comp. Not being able to play with mods makes me feel like I'm missing out on so much. I mean honestly, I need an enchanting table in Whiterun, a 9999999999999 damage daedric sword that steals souls with fire damage, Zoidberg Crabs, nude skins, and the ability to kill children.

Consoles are becoming an alternative to TV, almost. It isnt there yet, but I will be buy a console (whichever) that offers Netflix, ESPN, HBOGo, MLB, NFL, NBA, Showtime, and the rest. Right now PS3/360 offers most of that, but not all. Plus the few other channels Id like that Im blanking on. It isnt far off though.

yeah, if I could cancel my cable/dish, I would def get a new system. Honestly, if it wasn't for Cleveland sports...I would probably get rid of it now.

As long as Gran Turismo is only on Playstation, it's an easy choice.

Free if your Amazon prime main account holder... If you but Kindle fire you get free year subscription if I remember right!

I'm hoping amazon releases a new version of the fire and I'll bite and take the free year of prime...

It also sounds like Sony is trying to add HBO Go and Xfinity to the PS3 app selection.

They have been trying for HBOGo for awhile, and have failed for some reason. Pisses me off XBox got it right when I made the switch (XBox finally died).
