I’m done for the summer (hamstring)

I had injured (bone bruise) the ball of my foot last August which was very painful to workout or run, walking for long period of time was painful, that injury put me out of Tough Man Events and Pistol Competition. I was feeling better and start to workout more. Then this happen Grade 3 hamstring pull. The pain was immediately intense and the burning feeling was crazy. From my ass cheek to the mid calf below the back of my knee is purple, little painful to walk (back of the knee area is sore) and it is very tender to the touch. I was helping my daughter move in (Chicago) over the weekend, bent down to pick up a good size box and POP. I can home on Sunday and when to the doctor on Tuesday, doctor tells me I’m 5-8 weeks before I can do any real workout and need to slow down.

I’ve had many different type of injury but none as immediately intense as this Hamstring injury.

Anyone else ever pull a Hamstring? How?
