Loved the pop Lesnar got when he came out. Has there been a more universally hated face in the history of wrestling than Cena?

Not that I can remember.

Why is Zack Ryder so popular? I just can't get interested in him. I thought it was great when the front row was counting 1 2 3 as The Miz pinned him Sunday night.

I also can't get interested in Broadus Clay. He is a beast but I can't take him seriously as "The Funkasaurus."

These guys are gimmicky wreslters and don't last IMO. Ryder is popular because of his use of social media like twitter and youtube which generate a lot of hits. They are popular with the younger crowds.

How quickly we forget die rocky die. People hated the rock before he turned heel. And it's not universal. I don't really feel one way or the other for him but fans under 12 love cena. i don't recall it being that way in the mid 90s for rocky maivia.

The sad thing for clay is, from what I've read, he came up with the hall of pain gimmick for his return. Someone on creative put a bug in mark henry's ear and he essentially stole it, leaving clay needing a gimmick for his return. So now we're all forced to watch him jiggle.

Henry = Lord Tensai pretty much now. If they wanted to attract Japanese wrestling fans they could have brought someone else to do a different gimmick.

Lord Tensai = Prince Albert of "shave your back" chant fame.

Raw crowd lat night was amazing, the "yes, yes, yes" chant is the new "what."

One of the best RAW's in a while,

I don't recall the die Rocky die chants.

I honestly cant stand when the crowd does the "what" chant. It was fine when Stone Cold was there but it's honestly just annoying now.

I just can't get into The Funkasaurus gimmick. He's definitely a beast but too goofy to take seriously. That sucks for Broadus that he wasn't able to use the Hall of Pain gimmick but even his original gimmick would have been better than this one.

Finally watched the ending of Raw. I'm pumped that Brock is back.

There was a faction of fans who tired of the Rock being so over and cheered for him to fail, but not to the extent of Cena who flat gets booed by the majority of the audience and whose opponents often get a standing ovation.

I agreed with you with the "what" cheer. To me, that died after Austin v. Kurt Angle was over and heck, how long ago was that?

Yes but why bring him back to do what someone else is already doing?

I think this was because so many of the people who went to WM also went to Raw(noticed that a dude with sleeve tats in the front row of Raw was same dude in front row of WM). Not kids but long time wrestling fans. I loved the crowd as well.

That was when he first started as "Blue Chipper" Rocky Maivia. He was a generic smiling face who didn't fit in with the Attitude era, so he was hated until he turned heel, joined the Nation of Domination and became badass and cool.
