OSU with another strong performance against a zone defense, which a lot of people thought would give them trouble. The game was ugly as sin, but the Buckeyes managed to keep the lead or tie without Jared for most of the first half. Thankfully the FT's % picked up when the Buckeyes needed them at the end to maintain the lead as Syracuse was trying to extend the game.

Who would OSU fans rather play?

I think OSU would do better against UNC as Craft would just create all kinds of hell with or without the injured Marshall.

But a Kansas revenge game could be appealing to some, and others seem to think Kansas isn't as strong as their record indicates.

Without Marshall, UNC no question. Can you imagine what Craft would do to White? That being said, i am confident Craft could play Taylor tough as well. KU would be a great matchup as I think they will win today. It was early season, but OSU hung tough at KU without Sullinger. Both teams are better/different now.
At this point, it doesn't matter though. OSU can beat either team if they play well. Could easily lose to either team as well.

Regardless of which team it ends up being.....I'll want a win here infinitely more as I just never root for UNC to win and I just don't care much for Kansas.....same as if they meet up with UK (just cannot stand Calipari and hope karma keeps him from ever winning)

This and the fact that I think they should beat Kansas and UNC....wasn't sure about Cuse.

We almost beat Kansas at Kansas without Sullinger.

Tough to choose. I worry about Zeller's height and scoring ability if we play Carolina. And even though Harrison Barnes has struggled, he is a clutch player in crucial situations. Kansas reminds me a lot of Michigan State but we did give them a run for their money even without Sully. I guess gut feeling tells me North Carolina would be a better match up. But at this point of the season it's like no matter who we play, the team will be tough and we have to play our game.

I dont know if there is one I would prefer to play over another. Craft is going to abuse UNC's back up, and this time we are playing Kansas, on a neutral court, with our All-American.

I like the Buckeyes chances either way. ( I think Kansas beats UNC, btw)

The ESPN talking heads have Ohio State as the favorite in the Semi-Finals regardless of who wins this NC/Kansas game.

OSU will definitely be favorited by Vegas, they had them as the 2nd best odds to win it all before the tourney started.

btw, doesn't the "UNC/Kansas" signify that you will update the title once we know who wins? :D

2 and a half to go and it's looking like it'll be Kansas as they have grabbed the momentum.

And it's over. UNC couldn't do anything during a critical stretch.

Kansas won't play nearly as good. That was their best performance of the season arguably.

I like OSU's chances of advancing to the title game.

OSU played pretty well in Kansas earlier this year, and without Sully. I gotta think that is aspect of revenge, and seeing them before, will help OSU.
Matchup wise, I slightly like OSU on the inside.

Either way, going to be as great game.

Withey is going to have problems guarding in this game. He has no shot of matching up with Thomas, so he'll be on Sullinger or the bench. If Sully can hit the pop-out J it will be huge.
