Indiana, Michigan, Michigan St. I definitely put above them. Then Wisconsin and Ohio state battling for 4th. Wisconsin cause they always are there and OSU becaus ether are good. But here is no way, preseason, they are top 3 with only 30 ppg returning and no receuits coming in.

OSU did not lose because of Craft, but he did contribute to a dysfunctional offense the 2nd half. Plenty of blame to spread around.

If anyone deserves any criticism, its Thomas. He had good looks all nite. Then took some poor shots. No one has mentioned the CRUCIAL play near the end on the pass that went through his hands, which resulted in a layup for KU. Then he burped up a bad shot, didn't know the time on the when he chuchked up an even poor shot after that. If anyone wants to point the finger, Thomas was the one that was the biggest disappointment last nite.
Good point on Thomas' turnover....that was the biggest blunder in the last 3 minutes of the game. Until that play, I thought we'd win.

You could see it (the loss) coming the whole 2nd half. The way the 1st half ended was a big lift for KU as well should have been 13-14 point lead instead only 9. Ohio State kind of choked it away down the stretch which surprised me, I've seen them lose but not panic like this game. Thomas's foul trouble hurt but some of the shot Sullinger took were just ridiculous. Craft made a few bad decisions also that he normally doesn't make. I thought Matta kept Thomas on the bench too long the last time (under 4 minutes on his return) and Amir Williams should have played more and Ravenel less. Buford actually played well, given his game I would have thought that OSU would win. On the Kansas side they played great 2nd half defense and never allowed Ohio State to run much of an offense. It was disappointing because I still think OSU is the better team but neither can beat Kentucky. Buford and Sullinger are gone for sure, Thomas maybe, he could use another season but the money may be too much for him to pass up. As for next year even without these 3 OSU will have a pretty good team and much more depth than they have this year. Why would anyone pick Michigan above them? they lose everything including the 6'9 kid transfering out and Hardeway could go to the NBA. Bucks will be top 3. I can't be to upset with a final four appearance based on where they were just few weeks before the tournement started, still it hurts because I felt they had this game and as I said earlier just choked it away.

Burke and Hardaway both said they were returning a couple of weeks ago. I doubt that changes, because they'd be borderline 1st rounders at best. Jordan Morgan back too, + adding Mitch McGary.

They'll definitely be picked ahead of OSU unless Thomas and Sullinger both come back.

Michigan lost a kid to transfer and Novak (who was an enigma). They add Mitch McGary and Glenn Robinson Jr. They will be picked 2nd behind Indiana in most places, IMO. McGary is perfect for the Beilien way and Robinson Jr is a freak athlete.

Burke is going to be great I'll give you that but Morgan is terrible and Hardeway even if he stays is not a difference maker. The incoming Freshmen could be good but are unproven. Glen Robinson Jr. will probably be good (great pedigree but we'll see) don't think Michigan will be rated that high (#2) based on freshmen coming in. The Buckeyes will also have to do it with unproven players but at least they have been in the system for a year. I think Ross will be a big time player and Thompson will alsobe really good. Amir Williams, if he gets stronger and plays harder could be one of the better big men in the B1G. Craft is Craft and Smith Jr. can be a 12-15 point a game scorer if need be. I just think OSU has more at this point than Michigan but You could be right if Michigan's freshmen are as good as advertised and it really doesn't matter anyway what you and I think, both have to do it on the court so we'll see.

Congrats to Kansas. They played a great game. Hopefully they can knock off Kentucky so we don't have a vacated title for 2012 in a few years.

Couldn't disagree with that more. If Zeller leaves, Indiana will fall back quite a bit. Same goes for Michigan especially if Burke ends up leaving. Michigan St. will always be good because of Izzo, but Draymond Green leaving will have its impact on them. Wisconsin loses Jordan Taylor. I just don't see any of those teams being much better off than OSU even if both Sully and Thomas leave. You can't base next season off of this season's ppg. That would be assuming NO ONE improves which is just absurdly assinine. Same goes for the no recruits....no recruits RIGHT NOW, but if people leave don't put it past Matta to bring someone in late.

I'm basing it off assumtions that people leave and certain people staying Also, Wisconsin is bringing in Sam Dekker, kid might very well be all big ten next year. People will improve for OSU...they also will improve on other teams. I mean, don't sit there and talk as though OSU will be fine without thomas and sully case other will improve...then tell me MSU and Wisconsin will fall off cause free and Taylor are leaving. That's stupid.

Think what you will. In a week when the predictions come out, I'll be I here with indiana and Michigan at 1 and 2 and Ohio state in the discussion for 4th...preseason. If I'm wrong, I'll admit it. But I don't see how those two aren't top of big ten and I think Iu is top 3 and uofm top 10.

IU won't be sneaking up on anyone next season, so we'll see how they handle the #1 pre-season ranking. IMO, they didn't handle success very well after their hot start this season. We'll see.

Really? They had a 4 game lag when oladipo was hurt (still played). Finished the year 9-3 and then 2-1 in NCAAs. That included

I realize it was done in advance of knowing who is staying and who is going, but Carolina at 5 with everyone potentially coming back(minus Zeller) is comical.

Yeah I agree. But all you have to do is knock teams down as players leave. Carolina is not top 5, etc...but this was done way early. Rivers has been declared forever.

Drop OSU behind MSU if Thomas is gone.

I'm a Syracuse fan and I think #8 is way too high. Dion Waiters already has decided to go pro. As it said, Jardine and Joseph graduate and Melo isn't coming back. I'd say around #20 sounds right.
