LMFAO.......Even if Thomas leaves which is unlikely at this point this team has WAY too much talent coming back to not be a contender for another Big Ten title right off the bat. You figure you have a number of guys coming back who played significant minutes: Craft, Smith, Scott, Ravenel, and Thompson. I see all of those guys besides maybe Ravenel improving given their age (especially Thompson. Once his body matures a bit more and he puts on some muscle....look out.) Then you've got an incredibly talented big in Amir Williams. Sibert is kind of a wild card but has some experience (same goes for Weatherspoon). You get a full summer and offseason with LaQuinton Ross. Plus another year for Trey McDonald who at worst will be a big body off the bench. That's not factoring in anybody that Matta pulls out last minute in recruiting (Matta=great recruiter, Final Four appearance usually makes for a recruiting boost).
So even without Sully, Buford, and Thomas I can't name 4 teams in the Big Ten better than OSU next year. And that's worst case scenario
Indiana, Michigan, Michigan St. I definitely put above them. Then Wisconsin and Ohio state battling for 4th. Wisconsin cause they always are there and OSU becaus ether are good. But here is no way, preseason, they are top 3 with only 30 ppg returning and no receuits coming in.
