Good point. The almighty dollar talks at the end of the day.dazedconfused;1127299 wrote:it makes for a terrible atmosphere (especially the center court set-up of the final four) but unfortunately it isn't going away with the amount of money to be made with more tickets available, which sucks for good basketball purposes

hate the huge domes. You can't have them play in a smaller venue the whole god damn season then the last games of the year completely change that on them.

Maybe. But I think that went out with Marshall being out. I think UNC is the only team able to matchup well with UK. Baylor was close. But they completely lost their heads.mallymal614;1127301 wrote:That they are. But I thought they got a very good draw (Unlike OSU last year). I still think they are beatable. It will be tough but not like they one of the old UCLA teams.

I'm trying to think of the last team to run as much as Kentucky and be successful at it.

31-7 run, since it was 10-5 Baylor

Baylor might matchup w/ Kentucky..but Drew is not a good coach, no way they come even close to UK.mallymal614;1127310 wrote:I'm trying to think of the last team to run as much as Kentucky and be successful at it.

UNC has had some teams who could really run the court and finish. The key is turning the other team over, or having them shoot quick/poor shots. Exactly what Baylor is doing. You have to make UK play defense, execute, don't turn ball over and get good shots. All easier said than done.mallymal614;1127310 wrote:I'm trying to think of the last team to run as much as Kentucky and be successful at it.

Wisconsin's style will never win anything..Bo Ryan is such an overrated coach on the national level. The guy's never even been to the Final Four

Why the hell is in going back in?
They are up by 18?
Why risk it?

Good to see that CBS is concerned about the kids from Baylor. As if Perry is just some sort of deer that got in the way of a ferrari. Lol.
Could we please pause the game and get a live look-in with Sanjay Gupta?

Disagree. He does more with a bunch of cheese eatin' white guys than anyone I know. I think he'd have been to a couple final fours with any semblance of talent whatsoever lol.SportsAndLady;1127323 wrote:Wisconsin's style will never win anything..Bo Ryan is such an overrated coach on the national level. Wow. I hope (sort of) that Davis is ok. Hate when injuries decide things (see UNC)

It appears as if Davis will be fine, but, if he somehow were not, Ohio State would almost have a walk to a title. That'd be an incredible set of circumstance for the Buckeyes. And horrific for the teams affected.chicago510;1127361 wrote:Wow. I hope (sort of) that Davis is ok. Hate when injuries decide things (see UNC)
Kansas would still be tough.

Cats falling asleep here. Baylor slowly creeping back...Cal has said before this is the thing that drives him nuts more than anything his team does.
